A freshly engaged couple (friends of my parents) came to me and asked me for a little help- they needed photos for their wedding invitations and thought of me immediately. I was more than pleasured to take them out to the forest for a little shoot and they were more than happy after they saw the pictures.

Isn't the world sometimes mean? Both my brothers have the perfect bodies and what about me??? I am the outsider of the family and can't proof any belly muscles at all. But let's face the positive side: Everyone is jealous of me having such beautiful brothers :)

And when we developed our pictures we got the unpleasant surprise: Our camera was broken and all our pictures were over-exposed. On a sunny day in California the "hot dawgz and hand rails" snowboard festival was held in Big Bear Mountains. Among the snowboarders were world famous snowboarders and the winner Nick Visconti won US$7,500. Abnout 6,000 people showed up to the festival and cheered for the snowboarders, who impressed with their large number of tricks.

We went fishing to this rock- but as you can see the waves were quiet rough this day and the whole rock was vibrating when they broke at the rock- so we didn´t end up catching a fish- but maybe it was also because of our lure: sausage and baguette...

The Monkey-Girl

This is my favourite pictue- I am really proud of this shot! It was made in an indian village in Peru, we had to go there by boat, what took us 8 hours. The people in the village were really open-minded and welcoming us. I am glad I have been there to see how life can be in other parts of the world: They had no toilets or showers and they were living in little wooden houses.

Lea and me accidently ended up in this place- really quiet, dirty and scary... in the middle of the road a big pile of rubbish, in which a dead dog was surrounded by hungry vultures... It reminded us of a horror movie and we tried to leave the place as fast as we could

My family and some friends of my parents started a one week sailing trip in Turkey in October 09 (I had to skip uni for a week for that... but pssssst)
The sea and especailly the sky were amazing and except for the one-day storm (where 3 members had to vomit) we had beautiful weather and could go for a swim everyday!

Newquay, May 2009:
Julie and me arrived in Newquay (Cornwall, England) at 6 o clock in the morning to start our "surf and stay" in England´s capital for surfing. After a 8hour night bus ride we were really looking forward to finally sit down in our hostel- but the reality was different: the hostels wouldn´t open before 9 o`clock. Therefore we had a morning walk through Newquay and sat down at Fistral beach to watch the early surfers and have a little breakfast. That´s where I shot this foto!
